All aspects of horsemanship and sportsmanship are taught in a
fun, safe, and personalized environment. Everyone rides every
day! Lunch time
water activities. Horse arts and crafts, equine hand-outs, learn
how to tie Bonnie the fake goat, rope a dummy steer, mounted
drill team to music, vaulting on a stationary barrel horse, and
more. Camp time
9am-3pm.On
Friday your child will participate in a camp demonstration horse show
at 1pm, awards,
punch and cookies will follow.
CAMP DATES 2008:
June 23-27, July 14-18, July 21-25, August 4-8, August 18-22
(full). 9am-3pm at Walnut Grove Equestrian Park in San Marcos.
Equine helmets are provided. Please wear jeans or pants and a
comfortable shirt that can get dirty. For safety reasons,
boots with a heel, lacers are required. We can provide students
with proper footwear if requested in advance. Please bring a
swimsuit or a change of clothes if you get too wet during our
water sport activities, towel, and a sack lunch. Students earn equine
knowledge tickets that can be turned in for special horse books
& prizes at the Ranch Store.
Snacks and drinks are provided daily. Ranch T-shirt and
pen included.
